HARI KEEMPAT

On fourth day, we have learned about multiple intelligences learning style. Different strokes for different folks. There are eight kinds of intelligences that a teacher should know. There are:

Linguistic Intelligences
Spatial Intelligences
Bodily-kinaesthetic Intelligences
Interpersonal Intelligences
Intrapersonal Intelligences
Logical Mathematic Intelligences
Musical Intelligences
Naturalist Intelligences

Let me explain.

Linguistic Intelligences
‘Linguistic intelligences’ is a type of intelligence of student style in their learning process. How are their smart in Linguistic? Most of students in this intelligence category are the students who loved language arts such as poem, tongue-twister activities. It all related to words and languages.

Spatial Intelligences
This type of intelligences can be defined as the ability to visualize objects in different angles, space, face and scenes. They loved when it comes to colors and related to arts activities. They tend to able to estimate distance and judge space.

Bodily Kinaesthetic
Interpersonal Intelligences
Intrapersonal Intelligences
Logical Mathematics Intelligences
Musical Intelligences
Naturalist Intelligences

Class continued at 2 pm. It’s a micro-teaching session. I loved the activities since we have to act as pupils. It’s quite a happening session and havoc sometimes but it runs smoothly with the objective was greatly achieved. There are another 2 groups left as the time unavailable for them to take place and were postponed to tomorrow afternoon.

HARI KETIGA

On the third day, I have learned about attentive listening to an interview’s conversation. Given there is a vacancy in our school. We have been asked to write information we heard based on the professional profile elements stated in the interviewee’s form.

We have asked to discuss and compare the information gained in our group so that all the informations are exactly same. Next, we have to move in pairs with other groups, which also have had their own candidate they heard in their group.

We discussed and compared to get the best candidate with most accurate qualifications to be hired. I argued and sometimes agreed with my partner explanations about his/her candidate.
We came out on one decision of who are the best to fill the vacancy. Later then we were asked to present it.

The objective of this activity is to listen attentively and gauge our understanding of the conversation and also to implement the speaking skills in us.

In the evening, it’s a language analysis in term of grammar in context.

We also have been taught about stative and active verb. Statements divided into stative and active. There are rules to bear when building a sentence. First, we should know the verbs either it is stative or active or maybe both. Later I’ll show you the list and few examples of stative and active verbs.

HARI KEDUA

I drove from Pekan around 6.20 am and arrived at BTPN Pahang an hour later. Today’s lesson quite interesting. We were given a piece of blank paper and write our name in the middle. She then asked to pass the paper to the person next on our right hand side 3 times in a row.

As we got other’s paper, she asked us to write the name of the person in our family members that have similarities to us on top left corner. We were asked to pass again in 4 timed in a row.
On top right of the paper, she asked to write what is the most memorable gift we have received in our life.

Then pass 3 times in a row. On bottom right, our special achievement, pass the paper for 4 times in a row, bottom left a word or phrase about our school and passed 3 times.

Next task, the paper returned to our self. We were asked to find out who actually wrote each of the answer. So we need to get one by one asking for the writer of each answer.

Reflection: To get close and knowing each other.

After the break, we were given 30 minutes to discuss in our group, telling about our experience in school, some sort of information or details about our school and it was more relaxed activity.
After that, we wrote about our school on a piece of paper, with 220 to 250 words length.

We've our lunch and get back in 2.15pm.

We have to sit for APTIS test in the evening at JPN Pahang. The topic covers our 4 language skills. The test held for 3 and half hours. We ended our test on 6.45 pm.

Tomorrow our class starts at 8.30 am.

KURSUS SEBULAN DAAAAA

Yesterday
Tomorrow I will be leaving my school for a month, participating in a program held by Kementerian Pelajaran malaysia with the associates of British Council starting from 1st until 26th April 2013 at BTPN Pahang in Beserah, Kuantan. My heart beats fast and I am eager to go there..... lalallaa

Today: 1st April 2013
I was two and half hour late for the course. It starts at 2pm while I just reached there at 4.30pm. Looking for a seminar room named “Sri Kuantan”, just around the corner to the lot where I parked my car.

I grabbed my note book and a black pen on the passenger’s seat, stepping with speeding up to the room. Just thinking of the reasons I should give to my facilitator.

Oh she is a foreigner. Forgot her name already but remember her country of origin. Hungary is a country in Central Europe. She welcomed me with a smile, introducing herself and vice-versa.

She offered me a seat with 2 guys at the front corner of the class after I filled up a form in her laptop. Without interrupting her, I just fill the form with my eyes looking around the class, identifying who are from them that I have met before.

I have traced two of them are my friends. I was automatically blinking my eyes to them with my hands focusing on the keyboard, typing the information details required.

She told me about the activities going on now. Everybody was asked to get into pair, and gain as much info as we can, getting to know each other by telling some information about self. 5 minutes given was ended. By rotation, each of us ought to stand behind the friend who is sitting next to, and tell the whole class the information got from the previous 5 minutes given in a format which is the person who is standing will tell the story as he is the person who is sitting.

Since I was late, and didn't have partner, so I decided by myself to re-tell two stories about the two guys sitting next to me.

As I've done the task, then the class dismissed. I think it’s only few minutes I’ve been in the class. Well it’s already my responsibility of being that late, and I should bear on my faultiness; the tentative for the whole month, activities, time, and contact number and etc. Getting to know the participants was only I can get in the tea-time-break. Not break actually. The class already ended.

I got the room key after I registered my attendance at the hostel administration, . Harry, my roommate, is from Miri Sarawak, posted to SK Felda New Zealand in Maran Pahang early last year was a very cheerful and informative person. We are in the phase of getting-to-know.

Since there was no activities at night, so i deserved to go back to my hometown in Pekan and should bear in my mind to get up early by 6, so that the last incident won’t happened again; being late to the class.

Tomorrow class starts at 7.30 am. TQ
